It was the break-up heard 'round the world. Prior to their 2005 divorce, Hollywood's "golden couple" bought and renovated this sprawling Beverly Hills estate, complete with his-and-her living rooms. Architecture aficionado Pitt was said to have orchestrated the renovations himself.
This immense Pacific Palisades mansion was one of two homes that went to Nicole Kidman in her divorce settlement from Tom Cruise (he got the ranch in Telluride). Perhaps its 21 rooms seemed empty without him, but for whatever reason Kidman sold the house in 2003.
